We nonsmoking housemates have an opening for another nonsmoking housemate (male or female) in our seven-bedroom, shared house.
To help keep our shared house clean, each housemate (when at home) helps for more than 30 minutes each day with the cleaning and care of our shared house. (Some housemates who don’t have time to help with the shared cleaning are excused from having a cleaning assignment by paying an extra $90 per month, but, although excused, they are still expected to clean up after themselves.)
A $200 all-inclusive security and damage deposit is also required, but utilities are already included in the rent. We are seeking someone who is working and who is helpful.
Because we are far from the bus stop, a car is desirable. People without cars quickly move out of our shared house and then move into one of the many, shared houses that are closer to a bus stop.
Our two-story, suburban house is is located about half a mile south of the Seattle City limits.
We have no pets. You will have your own bedroom. We share the common areas. Each housemate has half of a refrigerator to use. Behind the house is a wooded area with a gully and a small stream in the gully, therefore we feel close to nature. We park right in front of our shared house. With careful parking, we have room for 8 cars. We have a shoe rack inside the front entrance, and so we don’t wear our shoes inside the house. In addition to the 2 small libraries in the house, there are several community libraries in the area. We housemates seem to have a common interest in increasing our knowledge.
